Student Group Tours

The following AAAE members are willing to give tours of their airport or company to student chapters and university classes. If you need assistance, please contact [email protected].

Depending on the age of the group, we will sometimes start the tour with a brief presentation as a general overview of the airport.
Chicago Rockford International Airport	Mike Peranich [email protected]	Rockford	IL	The Rockford Airport hosts tours throughout the year for student groups. Tours typically last 1.5-2 hours and can be customized to some extent based on the desires of the group. Non-profits or school groups only at this time.
Lee County Port Authority	Ethan Croop [email protected]	Fort Myers	FL	Tour the 2nd busiest single-runway commercial service airport in the United States.
Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport	John Pokryfke [email protected]	Fort Lauderdale	FL	We typically provide tours to students that include the Airfield, Airport Operations Control Center, ARFF, Ramp Control, and Airport EOC. Student groups sizes will depend on whether or not they are arriving on their own bus or the use of the an airport shuttle is needed. Tour times are typically 2-3 hours. Santa Barbara Municipal Airport	Lauren Gonzales [email protected]	Goleta	CA	SBA would be happy to host any student or student organization for an airport tour customized to their interests.
OKC Will Rogers International Airport	Stacey Hamm [email protected]	Oklahoma City	OK	Presentation on OKC Airport (history/operations/statistics) available. Tour of terminal building, both secure and public areas. Airside tours available for groups of 15 or less.
Denver International Airport	Kyle Finseth [email protected]	Denver	CO	Denver is willing and able to host tours of our airport to students interested in airport management careers. We can cater the tour to show/highlight different departments based off a particular group's interest, including: planning, ramp tower, airfield operations, terminal operations, baggage, security, tunnels.
Duluth International Airport	Mark Papko [email protected]	Duluth	MN	Touring Airside and Landside facilities at Duluth International Airport and Sky Harbor Airport, and our tenant facilities upon special request including Minnesota Air National Guard148th Fighter Wing, Cirrus Aircraft, and many others.
Wichita Airport Authority	Jesse Romo [email protected]	Wichita	KS	We are happy to host tours to students and groups interested in learning more about airport and aviation careers. We can adjust tours to fit the size of the group and can include both our 139 and GA airports.

Philadelphia International Airport	Wallace DuBois [email protected]	Philadelphia	PA	We'd love to host student tours of both the PHL Terminal and Airfield. These normally take place in the spring, summer, and fall. The size of the tour will change the resources needed to support the event. We can host groups tours as small as 5-8 people using our van. Larger tours will require us to schedule a bus.
